Sales, cold calling, and values

I just quit a sales job as an account manager the other week. Many factors went into the decision but I believe I made the right choice. It came down to a decision for what I wanted to focus my life on during the next phase in my life. My step mom once told me that it takes a year after college to figure out what you want to do with your life. I know now that sales is not my thing. What do you think?
